Essential test drive advice

Not sure what vehicle you want but have a fixed price in mind?

Select the required budget using the minimum and maximum price fields, enter your postcode and click Search. The results you receive should contain a mixture of vehicles that all fall within your price range.

Want to find a vehicle in a particular colour, Fuel Type, Transmission or Body Style?

Use the new advanced search options by clicking the blue box to unfurl the dropdowns that let you specify the exact color, fuel, transmission and body you are looking for. Select any other details relating to the type of vehicle you require eg make and model, price range etc. Enter your postcode and click Search. The results you receive should contain vehicles with your required features. To find more vehicles try leaving off one of the extra fields. This way you can find petrol or diesel cars. Estate or sports cars. Manual or Automatic. Red or Blue, or any combination of them.

Only want to locate vehicles close to Home?

Enter your postcode and then select "1 mile" within the Distance box. The results you receive should contain vehicles available within a 1 mile radius of your postcode. If no vehicles are located, extend your search area by selecting an increased mileage value.

Looking for a vehicle with less than 10,000 miles on the clock?

Select max mileage up to 10,000, select any other required details e.g. Make & Model, click Search. The returned results should comprise of vehicles with a mileage of less than 10,000 miles.

Looking for a vehicle less than 2 years old?

Make / Model not in the drop-down menus?

If you haven't done so already, register or login in order to activate the greyed-out Keyword field. You can still search for a make/model that is not listed in the drop down menus by leaving the Make & Model fields as they are, i.e. showing the words Make, Model in their boxes and then entering the name of the vehicle you're looking for in the Keyword box, then click Search. If there are any vehicles of this name in our database, a list will then appear.

I want to carry out more specific searches

Searches can be narrowed down by entering relevant keywords that may appear in adverts, such as diesel, estate or automatic.

You can search for specific vehicle derivates or specifications by entering relevant terms into the keyword box.

  • Separate keywords with spaces to return adverts with ALL of the keywords
  • Separate keywords with commas to return adverts with AT LEAST ONE keyword
  • Separate keywords with + to return adverts with the EXACT PHRASE

Note: spaces must be entered either side of the + to return accurate results.

I want to search by Trim
You can narrow down your search to specific trim levels by entering the relevant term in the Trim box.

Text entered will return results with the exact phrase, so only enter one term at a time.

Examples of Trim levels include GTi, TDi, SE and Sport.
